CCATES is a center of scientific and technical cooperation for studies, research and teaching, and presents itself as a strategy to support the consolidation of public health policies.
Its role is to develop projects in the areas of epidemiology, pharmacovigilance and health economics, training professionals to promote the qualification of the Unified Health System (SUS) and promote the production and dissemination of scientific evidence independently and nonprofits purposes.
Studying and disseminating results of Clinical Effectiveness of drugs, medical devices and procedures, and advocate for the use of these technologies with quality, the CCATES contributes to maximizing the benefit of treatment for the patient, prescriber and their whole society.
